FTLOM Top 40 27 juni 2020

"When The Thames Froze". Met de hitte van afgelopen week zal dat voorlopig niet gebeuren, maar het is wel de titel van de single die ons het duo Smith & Burrows leerde kennen. Deze single (#23 in de voorloper van deze Top 40) kwam van hun kerstalbum uit 2011, dat nadien geen vervolg kreeg omdat ze beide druk waren met hun andere bands en projecten.

Nu is er blijkbaar wel weer tijd voor dit project, dat vooral in België en Nederland leek aan te slaan (en in mindere mate in thuisland Engeland). "All The Best Moves" is hun nieuwe single, of er ook een tweede album onderweg is weten we nog niet.
