Het begint wat ééntonig te worden, maar wederom een schijf met een sterke link naar de jaren '90. Dat was het decennium dat Eels doorbrak en ondanks een minder prominente rol aan het front is de band eigenlijk nooit weggeweest.
Dit jaar bestaat de band rond kernlid (en enig vast lid sinds het begin) Mark Everett (ook bekend als E) en is er met "Baby, Let's Make It Real" een nieuwe single. Over een opvolger van 'The Deconstruction' uit 2018 is nog niks bekend, maar de single hebben we alvast.
