Sophie Hunger is een Zwitsere singer songwriter, die nadat ze als diplomatendochter opgroeide in meerdere landen, zich nu gevestigd heeft in Berlijn. Na een periode van meerdere muzikale projecten kwam haar solo loopbaan goed los in 2008 met het uitbrengen van haar tweede album 'Mondays Ghost'. Het was voor haar het eerste van vijf opeenvolgende albums die in Zwitserland hoog scoorden in de albumlijst. ook in Oostenrijk, Frankrijk en Duitsland wist ze te scoren. Geen single hits (al werd haar cover van Noir Desir's "Le Vent Nous Portera" wel veel gestreamd), wel met de albums.
Nu in 2020 is het tijd voor haarde zevende album "Halluzinationen'. Vorige week verscheen het en vooraf werden er al een aantal singles uitgebracht, die niet veel deden. Misschien dat wat extra aandacht rondom de albumrelease "Alpha Venom", de nieuwe single wel doet scoren.
Hier doen we in elk geval ons best want "Alpha Venom" is deze week onze Love Of The week en zal volgende week haar debuut in de FTLOM Top 40 betekenen.
