Eerder deze week op dit blog aandacht voor het album 'The Hollow Of Humdrum' van Red Rum Club, een band uit Liverpool. Opnieuw voorstellen zou dus wat overbodig zijn.
Wat in het stukje over het album niet vermeld is dat de band de band het als zijn kwaliteit ziet mensen aan het dansen te krijgen en dat meestal ook lukt. Met altijd een vaste dissonant: bassist Simon Hepworth. Alleen "Ballerino", een nummer met behoorlijke electro invloeden, krijgt hem in beweging. Of zoals hij zelf zegt: 'When we’ve played "Ballerino" live I haven’t been able to help shaking it like Shakira.'
Wat voor betere reden kun je hebben om een nummer als je weekschijf te kiezen dan dit? Deze week geen enkele en daarom is "Ballerino" deze week de Love Of The Week.
