Bicep stond in 2017 twee keer in de tiplijst en herhaalde dat eerder dit jaar nog met "Atlas". Deze week mogen ze eindelijk hun debuut in de Top 40 maken met "Apricots". Het Nederlandse Banji debuteert meteen bij de eerste poging.
Nog meer debutanten: The Awkward Silences stonden in 2016 in de tiplijst en kwamen daar kortgeleden met twee nummers tegelijk nogmaals terecht. Van die twee nummers is er nu dus één gepromoveerd. Hipster Pug en Bill Gelwick doen het net als Banji bij de eerste poging. De laatste debutant is Kacey Musgraves; Troye Sivan en Mark Ronson kwamen we zoals vorige week gemeld al eerder tegen.
De Love Of The Week is deze week niet voor een debutant, maar voor een 'oude rot'. Niet in de lijst, daar vonden we hem enkel begin 2015 in samenwerking met Kanye West en Rihanna, maar wel qua loopbaan. Deze week kwam 'III', zijn 18e solo album uit en hij heeft ook nog een verleden in wat bandjes zullen we maar zeggen.
De eerste single van dit album, "Find My Way", geeft Sir Paul McCartney zijn eerste Love Of The Week.
Het nummer is toegevoegd aan de Top 40 playlist op Spotify. Volgen van deze lijst zou fijn zijn.
