Like most blogs, websites, radiostations, etc, For The Love Of Music has it's favourite song of the week. It's called Love Of The Week and it will enter our Top40 the next week. If allowed it will go on high rotation on our webradio as well.
Ezra Furman starts his musical career in 2006 with his band Ezra Furman and the Harpoons, an indierock band that's very succesful in the collegecircuit. Although the band never disbanded, Furman started solo work in 2012 through crowdfunding.
To present the album live, touring band Ezra Furman & the Boy-Friends is born. With this band two more albums follow, of which the most recent 'Perpetual Motion People' saw it's release this summer. "Restless Year" made it to our chart this spring (#34, 1 week), followed by "Lousy Connection" in the summer (#31, 2 weeks).
Now "Restless Year" gets a second chance, because this week it's our Love Of The Week and thus a bigger chart succes lies ahead.
Ezra Furman already played several succesful shows in The Netherlands and next year he wil return for two more:
21/02: Amsterdam, Paradiso
03/03: Groningen, Vera
